Five tabs at the bottom of the screen provide more information:
This tab allows you to look up libraries that own the item. You can also designate a favorite library that will appear at the top of the holdings list for all items viewed.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Enter information in the Enter Location Information: field. |
| 2 | Select the Go button. Result: The tab redisplays, showing libraries that own the item, ordered by distance from the designated area. Note: Mileages are approximate and based on postal-code geographic centers, so it is possible that the closest library will not be listed first |
| 3 | Optional. Restrict the results to only the edition that you were looking at by selecting the Just this Edition link. Result: The Detailed Record screen redisplays showing locations for that specific edition. |
Each library listing includes the library's name and location by city, and an indication of which formats of the item it owns. Many listings will include a link to the library's general information page, with key information such as phone numbers and hours of operation. Some listings may display a link to the library's online Ask a Librarian service. Select a library-name link to visit that library's online catalog for more information about the item.
Selecting a library as a favorite will cause that library to appear at the top of the holdings list for all items viewed. Selecting a favorite library will also add that library to the list of favorite libraries on your My WorldCat page.
