Course description
Metadata is a fundamental element of any digitization project. Designed for noncatalogers, this webinar session focuses on using metadata to facilitate both access to and preservation of digital resources. Topics include: review of metadata schema choices, development of a preservation metadata model, and using XML to store metadata.
Note: Online workshops include a live presentation, which you access via the Web with audio available through a conference call. To participate in this online session, both an Internet connection and a phone line are needed.
