Course description
A hands-on training session that combines information for both the beginning and experienced user. Designed to assist institutions in improving staff understanding on how to operate and make the best use of CONTENTdm software. Workshop exercises include both beginning and advanced features such as:
- Creating collections
- Using the compound document wizard
- Metadata and controlled vocabulary implementation
- Maintaining your collections with batch replacement of objects and subset-editing of metadata
What you will learn
A basic-level understanding of and experience using CONTENTdm utilities. (Appropriate for organizations with CONTENTdm in place and operating or those who want to preview the software.)
