OCLC Western can provide expert advice and technical counsel for all aspects of your digital collection management needs. We work together with you to develop best practices to create and manage digital collections, increase access to digitized resources, construct metadata and preserve digital objects.

Preservation

For preservation projects, OCLC Western can help you plan and implement preservation activities, conduct preservation site surveys, and connect you to information about preservation of rare and fragile paper collections, audio files, video, and large format collections such as newspapers and maps. Consultants are available for site visits and consulting calls. Grant funding for a preservation site survey or collections review may also be available.
