The power of more—member libraries working together
eContent and electronic resources are a fact of life for library users and reference librarians alike. Selecting appropriate resources can be a daunting task—especially when publishers change their offerings every year.
OCLC uses the negotiating power of its member libraries and cultural heritage organizations to obtain consortia discounts on eBooks, eAudiobooks and reference databases. When you purchase eContent and databases through OCLC in the cooperative model, you save time and money because we are able to broker special discounts exclusively to OCLC members.
