There are many possible reasons for errors in linking. In general, the destinations of links within WorldCat search results and detailed records are controlled by our member libraries. Notify your library through its Web site if you have difficulty accessing its catalog or its online content and services.
Links from WorldCat records to Internet resources outside the library environment—such as an author's Web site—may not work because the Web site has changed how it is organized or has ceased operating.
If you discover a linking error that appears unrelated to one of the above situations, or is specific to a single WorldCat record, use the Feedback link at the bottom of any WorldCat page. Include the URL of the WorldCat page and identify the link in error.
The library's Web site or network connections may be experiencing techical problems. Notify the library via their Web site, if possible, or by phone. Unfortunately, WorldCat cannot resolve technical issues that arise at our member libraries.
Unfortunately at this time, we cannot offer a way to suggest corrections to records on WorldCat.org. If the error is a serious one, such as the misspelling of a name, and occurs within the record's bibliographic information (including title, author name, publisher and year of publication), please send a message from your personal e-mail account to bibchange@oclc.org. Copy the URL of the detailed record and paste it into your message, and provide a brief explanation of the error.
Changes made to WorldCat bibliographic records are based on a specified set of cataloging rules, Library of Congress rule interpretations, and ISBD (International Standard Bibliographic Description) guidelines. Because we do not own the items that are cataloged in WorldCat, some changes may require photocopies of the item. Final disposition of error reports is at the discretion of OCLC.
If you have found a broken link, note that the destinations of links within WorldCat search results or records generally are controlled by our member libraries. See reporting a linking error.
