WorldCat Link Manager currently supports catalog linking to ExLibris, Endeavor, Sirsi, DRA, Epixtech, III, VTLS, Fretwell-Downing and Talis OPACs and many more.
- Is there any extra charge for loading our print list?
No. You can do this as much as you want, using our online administrative tools.
- Will our library staff be able to manage titles individually?
WorldCat Link Manager bulk loads your individual titles from a table that you provide, and you can then manage this table using our on-line Web tools.
- Does WorldCat Link Manager manage and track large groups of titles?
WorldCat Link Manager currently tracks over 1,200 different e-journals packages.
- Is the library staff able to record all necessary subscription information for titles and aggregators within the e-journals management system or by other means?
WorldCat Link Manager does not attempt to manage your subscription information other than knowing what packages and titles you have, and the holdings ranges for all these titles.
- Is the Library staff able to record all necessary licensing information for publishers and aggregators within the e-journals management system or by other means?
WorldCat Link Manager makes no attempt to manage your licensing information. Look for a full-fledged electronic resource management system from OCLC very soon!
- What does a subscription to WorldCat Link Manager include?
A subscription to WorldCat Link Manager includes a subscription to the growing UHF collection of provider title lists. Now covering over 1,200 different aggregations of content, these tables are supplied in XML and are updated monthly. A subscription to WorldCat Link Manager also includes access to the JournalSeek Database, which tracks linking for 90,000 titles at the article or issue level.
