New searching and indexing capabilities: All new searching and indexing capabilities can be used in both Connexion interfaces (client and browser) when announced by OCLC in June 2008. In Connexion client, new indexes will not appear in dropdown lists, but can be input manually via the command line (Client dropdown lists will be updated with new indexes in the next version of the client).

New fields, subfields, and indicators: These may be used in both Connexion interfaces when announced by OCLC in June 2008.

New codes: These may be used in both Connexion interfaces when announced by OCLC in June 2008. In Connexion client, new codes will not appear in dropdown lists, but can be input manually (Client dropdown lists will be updated with new indexes in the next version of the client).

OCLC will convert data to its appropriate new format to the extent that is possible.
