A.1 WorldCat Collection Analysis Messages

These are some of the more common messages generated by the WorldCat Collection Analysis Service.

Analysis under...

      Message:  Analysis under construction
      Why you get this message:  The analysis you requested is not yet ready (some analyses may take up to two weeks to create).
      What you do next:  Check back at a later time. If this message appears beyond the two-week limit, contact your Regional Service Provider.
      Note:  If you get this message when trying to view an analysis that you have viewed previously, contact your Regional Service Provider.

No items found...

      Message: No items found matching search criteria
      Why you get this message:  You have set a combination of limits for which there are no results, for example: juvenile titles in Chinese in the Chemistry division.
      What you do next:  Change your limits and try again.
      Note:  This message generally appears on the Limit Analysis screen.

No title available...

      Message: No title available
      Why you get this message:  You have withdrawn an item from your collection since the last quarterly update and your symbol is no longer attached to the record.
      What you do next:  Verify that the item has been withdrawn from your OPAC. If it has not been withdrawn, contact your Regional Service Provider.

Problem building...

      Message:  Problem building analysis
      Why you get this message:  This is a system problem.
      What you do next:  Check the OCLC System Alerts page; if there are no alerts posted, contact OCLC Support.
