Digital Collection Services
A range of options from OCLC supports the entire digital lifecycle; from planning and processing to managing, preserving and sharing primary source materials. These solutions serve the needs of organizations just starting to explore digital possibilities, as well as those that are fully engaged in digital collection management.
Share your digital collections on the Web
- CONTENTdm—Digital Collection Management Software
CONTENTdm makes everything in your digital collections available to everyone, everywhere. No matter the format—local history archives, newspapers, books, maps, slide libraries or audio/video—CONTENTdm can handle the storage, management and delivery of your collections to users across the Web.
CONTENTdm is also easy to install and use, which means you can focus on planning and building collections. An out-of-the-box Web interface lets you get started quickly. The software can be installed on your server or you can opt to have it hosted by OCLC. Plus, your collections' metadata can be added to WorldCat for discovery through WorldCat.org and WorldCat Local.
Preserve your digital master files
Search for, and find, digital preservation masters
- DLF/OCLC Registry of Digital Masters—A central registry of digital preservation masters
Search for, and find, digitally preserved materials. The Registry eliminates redundant digitization efforts and increases the visibility of your digital content.
