Good Practices for Great Outcomes: Cataloging Efficiencies that Make a Difference

Joan Heath, Associate Vice President, Texas State University–San Marcos, welcomed more than 65 participants to this May 6 event, which was also generously hosted by Albert B. Alkek Library, Texas State University–San Marcos. Stefanie Wittenbach, University Librarian at the brand new Texas A&M–San Antonio library, delivered the keynote, followed by several OCLC and member representatives, including Glenn Patton, Director, WorldCat Quality Management, OCLC, Elaine Sanchez, Head Cataloging Librarian, and Paivi Rentz, Head Acquisitions Librarian, Texas State University–San Marcos, Richard Hasenyager, Director for Library Services, North East Independent School District, San Antonio, and Jee-Hyun Davis, Head Librarian, Cataloging & Metadata Services, University of Texas at Austin.
