ILLiad : Ordering : Pricing

ILLiad pricing

There are two ILLiad fee structures, depending on whether your library has its own ILLiad servers or contracts with Atlas Systems to provide server hosting. Under both systems, total ILLiad cost is dependent on the volume of interlibrary loan requests per year at your institution. (For the standard fee structure, only borrowing requests are counted, while under the hosted server option, both borrowing and lending requests determine the annual volume.)

What constitutes an "institution?"

The pricing shown applies to the purchase of an OCLC ILLiad license for a single institution-one physical site and its satellite sites. A satellite site is part of the same institution and runs a client from the main server.

Example: Emerald University Main Library is designated as the host server site. Emerald University Law Library and Medical Library are satellites to the main library and share access to OCLC ILLiad on the Main library server.

A satellite site tracks and handles its requests separately from the main institution, and may have its own OCLC ILL symbol. Satellite sites must be in close physical proximity to the server site (i.e., on the same campus).
