UnityUK
The UnityUK service delivers leading edge functionality for union catalogue management, cross database searching, holdings and item location, integrated interlibrary loans and resource sharing services. UnityUK is based on three core products from the OCLC product range, VDX, ZPORTAL and CBS. CBS runs the union catalogues of both TCR and LinkUK providing more that 400 locations and 37 million UK library holdings to its 130+ subscribers. UnityUK offers a public interface for library users with two access options; from within library buildings using IP authentication or remotely, from any PC outside the library, authenticating by their borrower number and PIN code. |
