WorldCat.org

A platform for broad, Web-scale discovery and delivery of library resources

WorldCat.org is a Web destination with search and social networking features that allow information seekers to discover, localize and personalize content from your collections and those of 10,000-plus WorldCat libraries globally. The site is the centerpiece of an open and "Web scale" system that distributes data about WorldCat-cataloged items across popular search engines, the social Web and other partner sites. People who search the Internet first for information find what they need in the context of libraries; identify their location and link directly to catalog records and electronic services at nearby institutions; and contribute user-created content that further enhances discovery and expands the utility and reach of the system.

OCLC TouchPoint

End user discovery service
TouchPoint provides a state-of-the-art interaction between libraries and their users in a web environment.  The service provides greater accuracy for researchers with more complex discovery needs and richer insights into chosen resources. User-generated content, like reviews and lists, which have been contributed to WorldCat.org, are for the first time accessible via a locally hosted solution.

QuestionPoint

QuestionPoint is a unique virtual reference service, supported by global network of cooperating libraries worldwide, as well as an infrastructure of software tools and communications. QuestionPoint is also a source of unique centralized knowledge resources built by a collaborative network of member libraries.

WorldCat® Local

Easier discovery of your materials locally and globally

WorldCat Local is a complete discovery-to-delivery solution that lets people easily find items in your collection and get them via the best available fulfilment options using a localized version of the WorldCat.org platform.

ZPORTAL Federated Search Portal

The direct route from information discovery to content delivery
ZPORTAL provides end users with a single (federated) search environment that simultaneously searches across a selective range of information resources, and retrieves the hits into a single results set—all with the ease of an everyday internet search engine. The system preserves the richness of the facilities provided by the native resources both in their query facilities and data structures.
