OCLC announced as the main sponsor of JISC Conference 2009
JISC has announced that OCLC, the world's largest service and research membership organisation dedicated to serving libraries, archives and museums, will be the main sponsor of its 6th annual conference.
The conference, taking place in Edinburgh on 23 and 24 March, 2009 will showcase how JISC is enabling further and higher education institutions to enhance the students' learning experience, provide greater access to digitalised resources and gain from the expertise of the organisation's services.
It will also feature discussions, debate and, most of all, hands-on experience of technology which is bringing to life research, teaching and learning within higher education.
Malcolm Read Executive Secretary at JISC said: "We have a long and successful history of supporting the library community. We are looking forward to working with OCLC who will bring a wealth of expertise across library services and research to share with delegates at the conference."
