Tools to jump-start your move to WorldShare ILL

Tip of the Week March 10, 2014

We are just weeks away from the end of access to WorldCat Resource Sharing on May 19, 2014. In addition, starting April 14 WorldCat Resource Sharing will no longer support new requests.

Thousands of OCLC ILL users now use OCLC WorldShare® Interlibrary Loan every day. If you are not yet using WorldShare ILL, the following steps will help you get started:

Step 1:  Get an account
Visit http://oc.lc/start for information about how to set up the account you will use to access WorldShare ILL.

Step 2: Get some training
A variety of training resources are available at http://oc.lc/illtraining. Choose from instructor-lead classes, self-paced tutorials and documentation.

Step 3: Learn from others
At http://oc.lc/WorldShareILLYouTube, hear practical advice from ILL staff who have completed their transitions.
