Users of the Biology Digest database can now take advantage of the same level of functionality as in other FirstSearch databases. They can:
- Link to library holdings worldwide
- Use the library's Web-based catalog to see the shelf status of an item (when this feature is enabled in the administrative module)
- Use OCLC Interlibrary Loan to request an item (when enabled in the administrative module)
- View available full text from other FirstSearch databases
- Access hotlinked author and subject fields to easily expand a search
- Rank search results by relevance and date. In addition, users of the Expert search interface can improve the precision of their searches with several new indexes.
