Activation requests

WorldShare Metadata is available to any library with a Cataloging subscription. To get started, complete the activation request form. After you receive your credentials for the WorldShare interface, set your password.

To create additional WorldShare accounts, see Manage staff accounts for the WorldShare interface. This web resource includes descriptions of various authorizations for the WorldShare interface.

Searching:
Please note: Boolean operators must be entered in capital letters (AND, OR, NOT). Not all indexes are currently supported. If you need to use a "range of year" please use ".." (dot dot) rather than "-" (a dash). For example: yr:2000..2013

 

Updates to the WorldCat master record for your holdings in WorldCat

You can get updated MARC records based on changes to the WorldCat master record for titles you have holdings set on in WorldCat (even if they are not part of a Standard Collection or WorldCat Query Collection).

2 - Record Delivery tab: Define delivery options for the output of MARC records

Enable the option at your institution to maintain WorldCat holdings on WorldCat knowledge base Standard Collections. (Functionality to maintain WorldCat holdings on WorldCat Query collections will be added in 2014.)
