Supported Browsers for Patrons
- Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 and higher
- Firefox version 18.0.1 and higher
- Google Chrome version 10 and higher
- Apple Safari version 4 and higher (both Mac and Windows versions)
Supported Browsers for Librarians
All browsers, regardless of version used by librarians for QuestionPoint Chat, must have Adobe Flash Player: Version 9.0.124.0 or higher installed.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 and higher
- Firefox version 18.0.1 and higher
- Google Chrome version 10 and higher
- Apple Safari version 4 and higher (both Mac and Windows versions)
Chat Librarians using co-browse
- A high speed connection to the internet
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista or Windows 7) ONLY
- Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 and 8 ONLY.
- JVM: Java Virtual Machine up to Version 6 Update 7. Version 6 Update 10 or higher are not supported
- Adobe Flash Player: Version 9.0.124.0 or higher
Note: Internet Explorer 9 and 10 are not supported due to incompatibility with JVM Version 6 update 7.
