8 Administer Staff ILL settings

The WorldCat Services Administrative Module provides an interface that allows resource sharing staff to administer constant data, saved notes, custom holdings groups custom holdings paths, and direct request profiles. The FirstSearch administrator controls access to this interface by linking ILL authorizations to FirstSearch authorizations.

Resource sharing administration and functionality are available in the WorldCat Services Administrative Module under Resource Sharing, Staff ILL Settings. The following screens are available under Staff ILL Settings:

Authorizations

The Authorizations screen allows you to add staff ILL authorizations and delete staff ILL authorizations. For more information, see staff ILL authorizations overview.

Constant Data Options

The Constant Data Options screen allows you to set persistence for your constant data records, and to choose electronic delivery options. For more information, see Constant Data overview.

Constant Data Records

The Constant Data Records screen allows you to view, print, create, edit, and delete constant data. For more information, see Constant Data overview.

Saved Notes

The Saved Notes screen is used to set any conditions for borrowing or lending. Special library hours, library lending practices or general information may be noted here. For more information, see Saved Notes overview.

Custom Holdings Groups

The Custom Holdings Groups screen allows authorized resource sharing staff to create, edit, delete, view, or print custom holdings group data. For more information, see Custom Holdings overview.
