You can download the current spreadsheet view as a tab-delimited text file which can then be imported into applications such as Microsoft® Excel.
To export a table view:

Result: A file download window opens.
|2||Within the download window, select the Save button or its equivalent, then follow your browser's download sequence. |
Note: Be sure to note the file name and the directory to which you downloaded the file.

Bibliographic information is displayed as a List of Brief Records. You can download this list as a tab-delimited text file which can then be imported into applications such as Microsoft® Excel.

To export these records:
|Select the Export icon in the Control Panel.||The Direct Export Records screen appears. |
Note: For step-by-step instructions, select the Help icon on the Direct Export Records screen.
Use your browser's Save Picture As.. or Save Image As.. function to save the graph to a file. You can save the graph as either a .JPG or .BMP file. If you want to use the image in an HTML file, select .JPG in Step 2c below.
Before you begin: If the graph is larger than your screen, use the Smaller icon to reduce the width of the graph.the resulting file.
|1||Position your cursor within the graph and right-click, then select Save Picture As.. or Save Image As.. from the drop-down menu. |
Result: A Save Picture or Save Image dialog box opens.
|2||Within the save dialog box: |
a. In the Save in: field, navigate to the directory in which you want to save the file.
b. Optional: Rename the file.
c. Select a file type from the Save as type: drop-down menu.
d. Select the Save button.
Result: The save dialog box closes and the graph is saved to your directory .
Importing the resulting file. To import the file into a third-party application, follow the applicaiton's instructions.
