See Chapter 5, "Basic Analyses" for more information.
These analysis presents information about how your library's collection is used within your local community (Circulation Analysis) and by other libraries or patrons at a distance (My Library as Lender). The screen also shows how your library accesses other libraries' collections to meet patron needs (My Library as Borrower). You can review your activity by:

See Chapter 7, "Authoritative Lists" for more information.

See Chapter 8, "Peer Comparisons" for more information.
OCLC has selected sets of libraries based on the significance (e.g., ARL Top 20, Google 5) or specialization (e.g., Executive MBA, Master/Doctorate program in Educational Psychology) of their collection. Your library's holdings are compared to the group's combined holdings according to the analysis dimensions that you have selected. Also available for comparison are OCLC's Electronic Books and NetLibrary databases.
See Chapter 10, "Predefined Groups" for more information.
back to topThese analysis groups are available to libraries that have subscribed to the WorldCat Collection Analysis service as part of a Subscription Group:
Group Analysis. This analysis presents the titles for each individual library within the group, according to the analysis dimensions that you have selected.
Aggregated Group Analysis. This analysis combines the titles of all the libraries within the group, removes duplicates, and presents them as if the group were a single institution.
WorldCat Comparison. This analysis compares your group's Aggregated Group Analysis to all of WorldCat and shows how many of your holdings are unique to your collection and how many are held by other libraries in your group as well.
See Chapter 5, "Basic Analyses" for more information.
You can create separate analyses for various subsets of your Subscription Group; these are called Secondary Groups. Creating a Secondary Group automatically results in both a Group Analysis (see section 5.2, "Group Analysis") and an Aggregated Group Analysis (see section 5.3, "Aggregated Group Analysis") for the Secondary Group.
This analysis compares your group's Aggregated Group Analysis to an authoritative collection development list, according to the analysis dimensions that you select.
See Chapter 7, "Authoritative Lists" for more information.

Your Aggregated Group Analysis is compared to the Predefined Group's combined holdings, according to the analysis dimensions that you have selected. Also available for comparison are OCLC's Electronic Books and NetLibrary databases.
