You can also export a citation for the individual item in popular formats such as RefWorks, EndNote and EasyBib.
Export to RefWorks
Before you begin: You must have an account with RefWorks. If you select RefWorks and are not already logged into the RefWorks Web site, WorldCat will launch a new browser window and take you to the site logon page. (If a new window does not open, make sure it is not being blocked by your browser or toolbar software.) Once you have logged in, RefWorks will accept the exported file and display a "Import completed" confirmation.
To export to the RefWorks research management Web site:

Select the Export to RefWorks link. Result: The RefWorks login center window automatically opens. Once you have logged in, RefWorks will accept the exported file and display a "Import completed" confirmation.

Export to EndNote
Before you begin: You must have EndNote® installed on your computer. If you select EndNote and have the software installed on your computer, the application should automatically launch and accept the exported file.
To export to EndNote bibliographic software:

Select the Export to EndNote link. Result: EndNote automatically opens and accepts the exported file.

Note: If you do not have EndNote installed, a File Download window opens asking if you want to save the file or find a program online to open it. If you choose to save, a file with the extension .ris is provided.
Export to EasyBib
To export to the EasyBib citation management Web site:

Select the Export to EasyBib link. Result: The EasyBib Web site opens where you can create a citation.

Export a list as bibliographic citations

Access your lists by clicking My Lists from the My WorldCat drop-down menu. |

From My Lists, click the list name. |

Click Citations View. |

Select your desired Citation Style. (The Citations View will reload your list in that style.) |

If desired, change how the list is sorted in the Sort by drop-down list. (The exported file will list citations in this order.) |

If there is a list item for which you do not want to export a citation, uncheck its check box. (By default, all list items are selected.) |

Finally, select the export file format in the Export selected references drop-down list. |

Click Export. |

From the dialog box launched by your PC, click Open or Save. Adjust the file location if desired. Result: The resulting file includes basic information about each library item on your list (such as title, author and publisher). |
