Appendix A explains the commands used with OCLC™ Passport software.

Apply Constant Data record. Specify the name of the Constant Data record and the applicable fields
Examples:

Add add Add a new record to the database
Back bac (or press < Shift >< F9 >)

Move back one record in a list of records or one screen on a list. Specify by number [n] the number of records in the list you want to move back
Examples:
    bac
    bac 4 (Use while viewing a list of records only)
Cancel can Cancel all displays and return to a blank Desktop
Constant Data cd [workform] [name] Create a Constant Data record. Specify a workform command and a Constant Data name:
Examples:
    cd wfan titles
    cd wfas subjects
Constant Data Information cdi Retrieve a list of Constant Data records
Choose cho [database abbreviation] Choose a database.
Examples:
    cho ol        access WorldCat
    cho af        access the Authority File
Copy text ctx [n]-[n]
ctx [n][s]-[s]
Copy one or more contiguous lines of text. Specify by number [n] the lines or segments [s] to be copied
Cut cu [n]-[n]
cu [n][s]-[s]
Remove one or more lines of text. Specify by number [n] the lines or segments [s] to be cut
Delete del Delete a record from the Save File or a Constant Data record from the Constant Data list
Display dis[n][format abbreviation] Display search results in a specified format
Examples:
    dis 5 br      Display a brief list
    dis 3-5 tr    Display a truncated list
    dis 2,3 fu    Display a full record
Edit Constant Data ecd [name] Edit a Constant Data record
Examples:
    ecdtitles
    ecdsubjects
End end Move to the end of a list or record
Export xpo Export a bibliographic or authority record
Find fin [index label] [search key] Search for records
Example:
    fin dn aust,,,
Forward for (or press < F9 >)

Line line [n] Move to the indicated line number in a record
Example:

Lock loc Lock a record before you edit and replace it
Logoff logoff Terminate your online session
Move Record mrd Move a record from the Main Display into the Copy Display
Mark-for-Transfer mft Mark fields in a record to transfer to a new record
New new Create a new record by transferring a set of fields from an existing record

Insert one or more lines that you have cut or copied. You can specify by number [n] and/or segment [s] the line and/or segment after which the text is to be inserted
Redisplay rds Redisplay the current screen
Reformat rf (or press < F2 >) Reformat a record
Release rel Release a locked record
Remove rem Remove the record you were working with and continue your command or action
Replace rep Replace a record
Respond res Respond to a submitted record (NACO National authorization only)
Return ret Return to empty Desktop. Exit Help.
Review rev Retrieve your search history
Revise rvs Retrieve the Revise screen to modify your last search
Save s Save a record or workform

System Change sys [abbreviation] Change to another system for which you are authorized Examples:
    sys ill        Change to Interlibrary Loan
    sys cat      Change to Cataloging
    sys uls      Change to Union List
Tag tag [nnn]

Retrieve the screen containing requested tag. Specify three digits of tag or first digit of tag group
Example:

Unedit ue Remove edits from a record
