  • Disclosure Corporate Snapshots contains information about more than 11,000 corporations whose shares are traded in the U.S.
  • Its information is derived from reports filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), from company annual reports, and from other public reports.
  • Records include company name and address, description of business, exchange where traded, and more.
  • This database provides an abbreviated view of the DisclosureS database.

Covers current information filed with the SEC, company annual reports, and other public reports.
Adds and revises records weekly.

Full Record Information Display

This database allows users to request the complete information for all of its records.   The full record is requested the same way ASCII full text is requested.  It is considered the same as a full-text request on FirstSearch.  Availability of the full record for individual institutions depends on each FirstSearch account.

To display the full record, set the ElementSet name to "t" and set the Record Type/Syntax to "text" before displaying the record.

Indexes

What follows is a list of FirstSearch indexes and the combination of USE and STRUCTURE attributes that can be used to access them.

  1. For any FirstSearch label where multiple USE attributes are listed all the attributes will provide the exact same search result sets.
  2. Any USE attribute that is not marked as a restrictor is available via the SCAN service.
  3. Restrictors are specially implemented indexes and are not available for scanning. Terms for these must be ANDed with other terms to limit the size of the result set. See the table provided for each restrictor to determine valid terms and their associated meaning.
