I currently manage the Metadata Schema Transformations project.

During my eleven years in OCLC Research, I have contributed many projects involving subject classification, content analysis, and the organization of full-text document collections. These projects include:

• An early large-scale prototype of an electronic publishing system
• Numerous information retrieval and automatic indexing experiments
• The Dublin Core metadata standard
• Electronic adaptations of the Dewey Decimal Classification
• The WordSmith project
• The Automatic Classification project
