Mike Teets

Mike started his work at OCLC in 1985 as a Research Assistant while attending The Ohio State University, later transitioning to a full-time programmer in the OCLC Office of Research. He has held various executive roles at OCLC since 2005.

Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors, National Information Standards Organization. He is a member of the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative Oversight Committee (DCMI) and the Open Identity Exchange Advisory Board (OIX). Mike was one of the founding members of the InCommon Federation Steering Committee (Shibboleth trust federation).

As an active volunteer in the local community, Mike has been a troop high adventure leader in the Boy Scouts of America and currently coaches youth soccer teams for the Dublin Soccer League. He sits on the Dublin City Council Bike Advisory Task Force addressing bicycle use as an alternative to single-occupancy vehicle transportation.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in computer and information science from The Ohio State University.
