Upcoming OCLC EventsOn May 5, 2009, OCLC held a webinar to continue the discussion between publishers and librarians that began at the March symposium. Read more. OCLC commits to holding ongoing webinars on these issues. Others are welcome to host webinars as well. The NISO and OCLC study "Streamlining Book Metadata Workflow" is now available. Read more. OCLC plans to host a Symposium reunion at ALA Annual in Chicago. The reception take place on Sunday, July 12, 6:30-8:00 PM Central Time, in the OCLC Blue Suite at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place. Registration information will be announced. OCLC plans to schedule another Symposium for late 2009 or early 2010. We will confer with the participants of the March 2009 event before deciding on a final date. OCLC staff plan to attend the following events during 2009, and will be available for group or individual meetings:
