Update on OCLC CEO Succession
The OCLC Board of Trustees have decided it is in the best interest of the OCLC cooperative to invite Jay Jordan to continue to serve as President and CEO.
Larry Alford, Chair, OCLC Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Jay has agreed to delay his retirement and remain as President and CEO for an additional year, providing the Board time to appoint his successor and complete a smooth transition. OCLC Trustees will determine the succession plan and timeline during its next regularly scheduled meeting in September. This process is likely to take several months. Jays continued commitment to OCLC and the membership has resulted in a seamless continuation of OCLCs important work and service to member libraries.
