Barriers to Using EAD Project
Problem statement: More than 10 years since Encoded Archival Description was introduced, institutions or individuals who wish to implement EAD still encounter barriers to doing so.
Impact: A report outlining barriers to EAD creation and tool options and suggesting means of overcoming various barriers will be of use to the archival community.
In this project, the working group has identified barriers to EAD creation. They are working to produce a brief report will suggest tools or techniques to remove barriers. Some suggestions for future work may also be an outcome.
