New PARcast: Electronic Records: The Archivist's 600-Pound Gorilla podcast with Jackie Dooley
DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, 28 August 2008—Jackie Dooley, Head of Special Collections and Archives at University of California, Irvine and OCLC Programs and Research Consulting Archivist, talks with Merrilee Proffitt about the challenges of digital preservation, as well as some current efforts to that illustrate progress.
Our podcasts are recorded impromptu interviews in which we ask the question, "What's keeping you awake at night?" of people we come across in our travels who are thinking ahead, worrying about big issues or imagining the next big thing. We record these discussions to share with you online.
This podcast is available on the OCLC PARcast page and in the iTunes Store. It is the seventh podcast in our ongoing series.
