Jackie Dooley Joins OCLC Programs and Research Staff as Consulting Archivist
DUBLIN, Ohio, USA, 28 August 2008—Ms. Dooley is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of archives, visual materials, special collections and archival standards.
Currently Head of Special Collections and Archives at University of California, Irvine, Ms. Dooley will begin working as a Consulting Archivist in September 2008 with colleagues in OCLC Programs and Research offices in San Mateo, California, and Dublin, Ohio.
Her primary assignment will be to work with the RLG Partnership, program officers, research scientists and product development staff to develop recommendations and an implementation plan that will expand OCLC's global support for archives and special collections.
