How to prepare your ad
| |
Action |
| 1 |
Select an ad and download it to your desktop. |
| 2 |
Open in Microsoft Word—the ad will look slightly washed out in your viewing window. |
| 3 |
Locate the two customizable fields. One is for your library's Web site address. The other is for your address and logo. |
| 4 |
Type in your Web site address. The shorter the better. You may need to manually adjust the size of the font to ensure readability and appearance. |
| 5 |
To import your logo, first select the copy box that reads "Your library logo and address here." |
| 6 |
Next go to Insert in the Word menu. |
| 7 |
Choose Select Picture and then the From File option. |
| 8 |
Locate your logo and click Insert. Select a high-resolution image, or one that is 300 dpi. This is the preferred format for printing. |
| 9 |
You may need to do some manual adjusting to ensure look and placement. |
| 10 |
When complete, perform a Save as and rename the file. Print it out for proofing purposes. It's now ready. |
