CafeteriasA selection of breakfast and lunch choices, along with a variety of cooked-to-order entrees, served daily by Sodexho professional food service staff. Hours of full service operation are weekdays from 7:30-9:00 a.m. for breakfast at both cafeterias, 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. for lunch at the Kilgour cafeteria, and 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for lunch in the Smith cafeteria. There are also limited service hours when items such as beverages, bagels, muffins, frozen yogurt and assorted snacks may be purchased. Fitness centerFree access is available to state-of-the-art fitness equipment, basketball and racquetball courts, saunas, steam rooms, and fully-equipped locker rooms. Aerobics and weight resistance classes are taught by certified fitness professionals. Columbus Computer Society (CCS)Support, training and special interest meetings are offered to nearly 1,200 PC enthusiasts around town, all of which are highlighted through CCS' monthly newsletter, local BBS and Web site. CCS general meetings are held one evening each month at OCLC, open to visitors and guests, and feature lectures by well-known local and national computer professionals. OCLC Toastmasters ClubToastmasters provides the opportunity for OCLC staff to improve their public speaking skills in a supportive and relaxed environment, with meetings held twice a month, both during lunch and in the evening. OCLC Book ClubOCLC offers an informal book discussion club to read and talk about current bestsellers as well as older titles of all genres. Meetings are scheduled once a month over lunch and are open to all staff. Corporate Challenge and intramural activitiesWe also promote a sense of camaraderie and team spirit while encouraging physical fitness throughout a variety of competitions, both corporate-wide and intramural. |
