WorldCat Mobile app now in iPhone App Store

iPhone users, rejoice. The WorldCat Mobile app is now officially available for download from the iPhone App Store.

The iPhone app makes the 1.3 billion items available in WorldCat libraries searchable to iPhone users through a free download.

Non-iPhone users can view the iPhone App Store in iTunes.

The downloadable app complements the existing experimental Web app for iPhone already available, built from the WorldCat Search API.

Install the app through the following steps:

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone
2. Select the Search button
3. Type 'worldcat' into the search field and choose SEARCH
4. The application "WorldCat Mobile" should show up very near the top (with the WorldCat logo)
5. Select the application, then press the 'Free' button, which will change to "Install"
6. Press the Install button
