ILLiad version 7.4 available

ILLiad version 7.4 is available for download using the ILLiad Auto Updater on your server.

If your server is OCLC-hosted, please contact OCLC to coordinate a time to update.

ILLiad 7.4 consists mostly of improvements and enhancements to how the system works, and is the precursor to ILLiad 8.0. If you plan to take part in the ILLiad 8.0 preview, we recommend you upgrade to ILLiad 7.4 as soon as possible.

ILLiad 7.4 highlights:

• Now compatible with WorldCat Resource Sharing Web service version 1.3
• Enhanced Web DLL capabilities
• Updates and enhancements to improve workflow

Hosted sites

OCLC-hosted ILLiad sites can choose the day and time for the upgrade by accessing the online scheduler. Each site uses a unique, institution-based URL to access the calendar-based online scheduler system.

Self-hosted sites

If your site is self-hosted, you can upgrade by following the instructions included in the ILLiad 7.4 Release Notes at the Atlas documentation site (https://prometheus.atlas-sys.com/dashboard.action), and run the ILLiad Updater to download the new software.
