Future enhancements to WorldCat Selection service

Materials vendor partners  (Expected: 09 2008)

• OCLC is continually adding new vendor partners. We are currently in the process of adding China Educational Publications Import and Export Corporation, East View Information Services, Erasmus Boekhandle BV, Howard Karno Books, Inc., Iberbook Sánchez-Cuesta, Librairie Erasmus, Puvill Libros, and Susan Bach Books. Future enhancements not yet scheduled

Import records from WorldCat

• Selectors will be able to enter one or multiple WorldCat control numbers to import records from WorldCat to their Inbox.  As with records from other sources, selectors will be able to take actions such as Select, Reject, Forward, or Defer on imported records.

E-mail notification records

• Selectors will be able to e-mail notification records to faculty or other staff members to request input on the selection decision.
