Nominations sought for 2010 OCLC awards

Part of OCLC's commitment to research and education includes furthering the advancement of librarianship. OCLC does this not only through OCLC research but also by financially supporting awards and scholarships. OCLC is seeking nominations for the following 2010 OCLC-sponsored awards. Deadlines are in bold; the link provides more information about the award and the nominating process.

Expert Community Experiment enables cataloging members to make more changes to WorldCat records.

In response to requests from the cataloging community, OCLC introduced the Expert Community Experiment, which enables cataloging members to make more changes to WorldCat records. The Experiment began in February 2009 and ran for six months, and the increased capabilities introduced as part of the program, remain available to members.
