How it Works

EZproxy software is a simple and effective authentication solution for your library to deliver secure user access to your electronic resources. With the release of version 4.0h, EZproxy can perform single sign-on to NetLibrary eContent using existing library-issued credentials, such as a library card or PIN.

By serving as an intermediary between your library's user database and NetLibrary eContent, EZproxy Single Sign-on eliminates the requirement for separate NetLibrary user accounts.

Whether searching from your library's Web site, OPAC or library eResources page, your users will enjoy seamless access to your NetLibrary eContent from the point of request.

When to Use

When your library wants real-time authentication and minimal user input. EZproxy enables your library to provide secure user access to your NetLibrary eContent in a single sign-on environment using existing library credentials.

Libraries already using EZproxy will benefit from a single point of administration for user authentication across all licensed eResources including NetLibrary.
