Periodical Services and Museum Images from Airiti

Through a partnership with Airiti, NetLibrary offers access to the following three convenient and comprehensive sources of Chinese language eContent:

Chinese Electronic Periodical Services (CEPS) is the first legally-authorized and most comprehensive online database of full-text periodicals from China and Taiwan. Currently, CEPS includes 338,000 articles from more than 2,500 top academic journals. A valuable resource for students, faculty and researchers in the sciences and humanities, CEPS provides a convenient way to easily search, browse and download full-text Chinese-language articles. Awarded the Best Digital Publication of 2005 by News Bureau of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan, the CEPS database is updated daily, and provides a comprehensive view of Chinese and Taiwanese scholarship since 1991.

The Taiwan Electronic Periodical Services (TEPS) by Airiti offers the largest collection of full-text Taiwanese periodicals in the world. Currently TEPS contains 81,000 articles from more than 500 Taiwanese periodicals, and they're all available through the NetLibrary platform. A valuable resource for students, faculty and researchers in the sciences and humanities, TEPS provides a fast and convenient way to find Taiwanese articles.

Updated daily, TEPS provides a comprehensive view of Taiwanese scholarship since 1991. Any scholar or researcher interested in Taiwan, its manufacturing, culture or relationship to China will find hundreds of journals covering many subjects. Please note that while TEPS can be purchased separately, a subscription to TEPS is included as part of CEPS.

The National Palace Museum (NPM) Online database represents the world's most complete and feature-rich eContent offering for ancient Chinese art treasures. A valuable resource for libraries, art schools, museums and other cultural institutions, NPM Online contains 12,000 images and related description articles of the art pieces in the collections of the National Palace Museum in Taiwan. Created primarily for educational and academic research purposes, NPM Online was awarded the Best Subsidized Digital Publication by News Bureau of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan in 2005. A professional consulting group, comprised of researchers from the National Palace Museum and history professors from the Taipei National University of the Arts, carefully selected images of works that span seven millennia of Chinese history and prehistory. The high-resolution images have an optimum display size of 1024 x 768 pixels. A zoom-in function provides immediate, clear views of particularly intricate details.

CEPS, TEPS and NPM Online from NetLibrary are available as an annual subscription with unlimited, simultaneous usage.
