| Notes |
The OCLC Committee was formed in 1977 as the OCLC Special Interest Section of the American Association of Law Libraries. Eventually the section broadened its scope to include all bibliographic utilities and local online systems, changing its name to the Online Bibliographic Services Special Interest Section (OBS-SIS). The OCLC Committee is a standing committee of the Section that meets at the AALL Annual Meeting. The members and chairs are volunteers appointed by the chair of the OBS Section. The chair writes a column about OCLC for the Technical Services Law Librarian which is the newsletter of both the online Bibliographic Services SIS and the Technical Services SIS. |
