WorldCat Link Manager is an OpenURL linking and listing service that allows users to link from an article citation in WorldCat to the full-text version of the article. WorldCat Link Manager "puts it all together" for libraries that don't need the hassles of running their own link-server operation.

About OpenURL

OpenURL creates a method for putting bibliographic metadata into a hyperlink. OpenURL is supported by numerous information providers which allows for seamless integration of resources.

OCLC actively participated in the OpenURL standards process, and is now the designated maintenance agency for the OpenURL standard (ANSI/NISO Z39.88-2004).

WorldCat Link Manager is one of the most complete implementations of the standard available.
