Custom collections

They’re just that—custom. OCLC Language Sets staff will select, acquire and provide custom, full MARC cataloging for collections of books, DVDs and other media, based on your library’s specific collection development criteria.

We can help you build a non-English collection with several levels of support. Language Sets librarians can perform custom selection for your library based on a profile of subject matter, format, reader level and other preferences. If your library staff has already done the selection or if you just have a list of authors you wish to add to your collection, we can take care of the acquisition, cataloging and physical processing of your materials.

Each project is priced individually. The cost of a collection will depend on the level of services needed, the collection size, subject matter, format of the materials and the estimated cost of the materials.
