Electronic books available in FirstSearch

Through WorldCat, FirstSearch users can access and search for text within more than 170,000 eBooks (electronic books) supplied by the NetLibrary service, provided your institution maintains a NetLibrary account.

What are eBooks?

They're published materials, such as reference books, scholarly monographs, and trade books that have been converted into digital format for electronic distribution. Features include a dictionary, index, and easy keyword searchability. As with print books, libraries purchase individual copies, and only one patron at a time may access each copy.

Reading is as easy as linking

Within the record displays from the WorldCat bibliographic database, an icon clearly identifies all eBooks. Libraries with shared or owned eBooks collections can enable direct links from WorldCat records to their eBooks using their FirstSearch administrative module.
