OCLC to be main sponsor of JISC Conference 2009
The Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and OCLC have announced that OCLC will be the main sponsor of the JISC Conference in 2009. The event which takes place in Edinburgh on 23 and 24 March attracts over 700 delegates comprising senior managers, practitioners and support staff involved in the use of Information and Communications Technology in further and higher education and research.
OCLC, who were the main sponsors in 2008, will be exhibiting with representation from both the Office of Programs and Research and the Products/Services team. This year the exhibition will open its doors a day early, with an evening reception before the main day of the conference.
OCLC's continued commitment to the event reflects a close relationship with JISC. Both organisations are engaged in national and global collaborative efforts to ensure education and research communities can deliver on their agendas and shape future service.
