Chat with an author at Edinburgh's Festival of Libraries with Enquire
This years Edinburgh Festival of Libraries will give people the opportunity to use messenger style chat technology in your local library or in the comfort of your own home to chat LIVE with Louise Welsh.
Louise Welsh is the author of three novels, 'The Bullet Trick' (2006) 'Tamburlaine Must Die' (2004) and 'The Cutting Room' (2002) all published by Canongate Books. Her most recent award is City of Glasgow Lord Provost's Award for Literature. Louise is also deemed by many to be an authority on Robert Louis Stevenson, she has presented many radio features on his work and life, and was given the honour of writing the preface to Canongate Books' edition of 'Kidnapped' (2007).
The session is held in association with Enquire and Edinburgh City Libraries, will be run from 2 - 4pm.on Thursday 13th November.
Enquire is a virtual reference service, delivering live assistance to information seekers via internet chat. Run by UK public libraries in partnership with OCLC, the service gives public library users access to a cooperative network of librarians who answer questions at any time of the day or night.
