Citing electronic documents

Whenever you use an article retrieved through OCLC FirstSearch, you must give credit to the author and owner of the copyrighted material.

If you are using only a citation from FirstSearch and you retrieve the full-text of the article through another source: paper copy, microfilm, microfiche or from any source other than through OCLC FirstSearch, you must follow different rules of citation.

Though there are many styles and formats used to cite electronic documents for bibliographic purposes, three of the most widely used are:

• Modern Language Association (MLA)
• American Psychological Association (APA)
• University of Chicago (Turabian)
