Lokales Bibliotheksverwaltungssystem (LBS) is a local library management system with integrated capabilities for cataloging and ordering. It is especially used in universities of applied sciences in Germany and the Netherlands. The integration with CBS offers optimal cataloging and acquisition functionalities and allows for flexible integration with external systems and data, such as providing direct links to book shops and suppliers. Its compatibility with non-OCLC systems makes it easy to import bibliographic and user-specific data, to browse third-party catalogs and to integrate with self-service equipment. For more information, see the LBS page in Dutch or in German.
