OCLC Americas Regional Council Meeting 2017

Please join us for the inaugural Americas Regional Council (ARC) meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, on October 30 - 31, 2017.

What does it take to become a smarter library?

We live in the age of Alexa, big data, autonomous cars, smart everything. What does this mean for libraries, their services and their value and values? Join fellow OCLC members at the inaugural Americas Regional Council meeting and address the challenge of supporting increasingly personalized customer relationships while also scaling to meet growth in population, materials and expectations.

The meeting will take place on October 30–31, 2017 at the waterfront Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel in vibrant downtown Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Registration is open through October 13.

The active two-day agenda is designed for attendees from all library types, and will feature thought leaders including featured keynote speaker Dr. Carla D. Hayden, Librarian of Congress.
Join us at this event to connect with fellow library leaders to share ideas, learnings and insights on what it takes to become a “smarter library.” Please send any questions to oclcevents@oclc.org.
