Enrichment Visits

OCLC is working with Peter Sidorko, Global Council President (2016-2017) and University Librarian at The University of Hong Kong Libraries (HKU) to arrange enrichment visits to libraries in Hong Kong.

If you wish to attend this optional programme, please make sure to mention it in your registration form, as there are only limited places available on each visit.

OCLC thank Hong Kong libraries for welcoming librarians from across the regions!

The library was established in 1972 for the users of Hong Kong Polytechnic. In 1976, they merged the two libraries they had, to their current library building and the polytechnic got university status in 1994. The library was renamed in honor of Sir Yue-Kong Pao, in 1995, in appreciation of a donation made by his family.

The tour will take place on Wednesday 30 November. Spaces on this tour are limited.
